The Freelands

This shoot was a family shoot for the holidays and it was shot this Sunday, originally having to reschedule from super strong winds.  I was a little worried it might rain, but the weather cooperated and we were able to get the outside images of their family out by the water and cattails right outside their backdoor.  I really loved the fall colors that were around and the kids did great for it being a bit chilly out!  Thank you for inviting me to photograph your family!

The Meyers Family

I met the Meyers at Zorinsky on Sunday...it was a bit chilly but the colors were great!  They let me pull out my new favorite chair(thanks Marilyn!) and we went to work.  We worked quickly as the little ones were getting chilly and found some great spots for some diverse photos.  It was a great shoot!

Carmelita-9mos

Little Miss Carmelita is 9 months old and it's been 6 months since her last shoot.  She has gotten so big and has adorable blue eyes and soft curls in her hair.  9 month olds are so fun to shoot..they are interactive, interested in what I'm doing (which is normally being crazy) and get a kick out of most anything.  They also have the most inquisitive looks which I love!

Sonia & Chris 10.24.09

Sonia and Chris had to face a few set backs on Saturday with the biggest being that the rain moved their outdoor ceremony in, but the day was beautiful...the bride was beautiful, the cake was one of the best cakes I've ever seen and the flowers were gorgeous.  Oh yea, ...her shoes...they were adorable!  It was at The View at Fontenelle Hills and the views were beautiful...autumn was in full force!

And finally, the sparler send-off!!!

The Murtaugh's

Tyler, Brock & Rease came over to the studio last week for pictures of the kids and for annual holiday card shoot. They were so much fun to shoot and so adorable! I can’t wait to start playing with their holiday card. I love that they were up for my crazy ideas and let me play around. Ty even had an idea for a shot...hopefully I got what he was going for!

The Duffey's

This clan came over last week for a family photo shoot.  I just did little Luke last week which you can check on the blog.   About 30 mins before their session it started to sprinkle so we said "bye-bye" to those fall colors and  came in the studio.  The boys did a great job and even earned a treat at the end of their shoot.  Here's a few:

Rose & Al 10.17.09

Rose and Al were married at the Renaissance Mansion which is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding ceremony with close family and friends.  Though it was a bit chilly out, we were able to get outside for some portraits along with their wedding ceremony on the back patio.  They flew in a vocalist from Michigan who sang like Sinatra and BoublĂ© and was outstanding and perfect for the Mansion ...  Here's a peek from their day:

Julie & Travis 10.16.09

Julie and Travis were married last Friday night and though it was a bit cold, they had the perfect day!  Their families and friends(including two of my wedding couples) were all there to celebrate with them enjoy the day.  Julie was a radiant bride and I loved their colors!  We even got to pop outside for a few shots which I am so thankful for because I love what we were able to capture!  The lighting was beautiful that night!!! Their reception was at the Stockyards and it is such a great venue!
