Lindsey & Andy (5.30.09)

Yesterday Lindsey and Andy were married at Westminster Presbyterian, which is down near Fieldclub. It was such a beautiful day and these two were so adorable together. The kind of couple whom I didn't have to coax much to cuddle and be sweet with each other for the camera...it came so natural. At one point while shooting outside, I actually got goosebumps watching them interact. It was so great for me because I had to worry less about getting them to "work it" and more about catching all those little sweet moments! :) What a fun day. I also got to work with an awesome wedding planner who did her job very well! (Let me know if any of you brides out there need a referral!)

I want to wish Andy and Lindsey a fun Honeymoon and a wonderful and happy life together! I'm so glad I got to be a part of your special day and I hope you enjoy my documentation of it! There's a LOT of kissing ones...I know :)
And here's their slideshow of the day!

A Family "Tree" (literally)

So when Libby called me about family pictures I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Once she explained that there was a certain tree that she has wanted a picture of her family IN forever, I was a bit skeptical. I didn't know how you were going to get 8+ people in a tree and be able to see them all. I asked her to meet me there and show me the tree before I could agree to do this for her. So a few months ago we met at the tree and I thought it was perfect for climbing and would probably work to have everyone climb in, so long as they were willing. I was so excited this morning when I arrived, saw the tree full of leaves(to give us some shade), everyone in a good mood and ready to tackle this picture. I am so please with what we got from the shoot. I had to share a few with you!!! A real "FAMILY TREE" :)

Laurie & Oliver Are Married!

Sorry, I'm a little late on this blog, but last weekend I had the pleasure of spending the day with a terrific couple, Laurie & Oliver, while they celebrated with family and friends the love they have for each other. They had a beautiful Saturday. I LOVED the pinks and blues they incorporated into their wedding...and their families made me feel so welcome...it was like hanging out with friends all day. Thanks so much for a wonderful day and I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon! I'll post the slideshow soon!!!

Kobe's one year shoot- Take One

One-year-olds are certainly unpredictable and little Kobe was no different. We headed out for
some birthday shots last week and though we got a few laughs from throwing a piece of grass, we think he was a little under the weather. When you pull out a cake with frosting for a kid, something has to be wrong if they cry before they taste it!!! :( I couldn't help taking this shot though! Hope you feel better little guy!

Baby #3

I got to shoot more belly pictures today and this baby-in-the-bump has two adorable older sisters to photograph as well. They got to hug beautiful mommy's belly and at the end have ice cream sandwiches. I'd do pictures too for an ice cream sandwich! :) Dad even got to pop home from work to be in a few. Here's a peek from today:

Baby Max

Yay! Baby Max did such a great job yesterday afternoon during his big shoot! I don't think he cried once! I felt so lucky to shoot Max because I shot his mommy and daddy's wedding a few years ago and I love when my couples come back to me. They are such a fun couple, Max sure is a lucky little guy!

Thanks for bringing him to me and letting me play!!!

Megan & Lance

My engagement shoot yesterday with Megan and Lance was so much fun! We found new places to shoot in downtown Omaha. I loved hanging out with them and getting to know them as a couple. Here's a little peek of a few of my favorites!

Gracelyn is Two!

Miss Gracelyn was the star yesterday morning as we wondered around her grandmas yard. She got to have pictures done with mommy, daddy & BOTH grandmas!!! What a lucky little girl. At the end of the shoot she even got some balloons and her very own cake. I had to include the picture of Thor, her doggie. He was having a great time chasing bubbles through the back of the pictures and I caught him here going right to the source to catch bubbles in his mouth!

This is one of my favorites!!!

Tutu's and Bows!

This morning I got to play with Miss Lydia and though the wind could have died down for us, it was such a fun shoot! We spent time in downtown Elkhorn(again) and used one of my favorite buildings there! We took a break in the middle to cheer her up with a cookie....and I think it worked! Here's a few shots:

Little round belly...

Look at how adorable Nici is! I headed to Arkansas this past weekend to see my friend and photograph her belly....and to think I was nervous she wouldn't be quite big enough at 28 weeks.... I LOVED her belly and how cute she looked! Can't wait to meet "Baby Girl"
