Ely & Maya

Last night I met this adorable family at Levi Carter Park and the lighting was just beautiful.  It's been a few years since I've photographed them and we recalled how Ely just melted during his last photo shoot...well that was not the case this time!  Both kids just played with me and were silly and did so well..enjoy the peek:

Luke {13 days}

Meet little Luke...he is the newest addition to one of my dear beautiful friends and she let me get my hands on him Tuesday night for some "first photos"  His big sis Kate has absolutely stunning brown eyes and the sweetest expressions.  She is "in love" with her little brother and so excited to show him off!  She also loved being in front of the camera...as you can tell!

Charlie {1 year}

Happy Birthday Charlie!  We met at the park this past week and Charlie brought along his cutest birthday present....his new baby brother, William.  Here's a few from our shoot!

 This was Charlie on solid ground.  He thought it was funny to run away from me!  Got him doing belly-laughs!

Lindsay + Chad

These two are planning a winter wedding and wanted some fun summer engagement pictures so we headed downtown last weekend for our shoot.

 I love these next two shots...Lindsay works for the Railroad and as we were starting to shoot we talked about how fun it would be if a locomotive came by...and a few seconds later, it did! I just LOVE her expression and excitement!

Tatum {6 months}

I met this little cutie at the park this past weekend and she did wonderful.  The rain held off and we were able to get little Tatum to smile, she was in such a great mood!  Here's a little peek at our session:

Emily + Justin

Our morning started out at Henry Doorly Zoo...it was a beautiful morning.  Emily and Justin are planning a fall wedding and wanted to do something fun for their engagement pictures.  The zoo was a great backdrop.  My favorite was the carousel!  After the zoo, we met at Elmwood for some cute shots with a balloon bouquet a la "UP".  Thanks for letting me play!

Bronson runs...

We were finally able to find a date that worked for Bronson's 18 month photo shoot, when rain was in the forecast...luckily his mama was flexible so we ended up meeting Saturday morning instead of the afternoon.  She mentioned on the phone that Bronson 'might not sit still'....that was an understatement :)

Five minutes into the shoot he was running, tripped and ended up with a big old red scratch/bump on his forehead.  It only phased him momentarily and then he was off again.  I was worn out!  The shoot ended in a puddle of water and by then, we let him at it!  I LOVE the shots in the puddle..he's ALL BOY!  This first one I had to laugh when I came across because I feel like this sums it up!

Connor {9 weeks}

This was such a fun shoot for me to do because they came into town from Minnesota and I was able to spend about an hour shooting with them.  Mark lived/played football with my husband during college and it's so fun to see him as a father now.  He has such a sweet family...

Sweet Simon..

Meet my newest nephew Simon.  He was just 9 days old and was a perfect little guy for his photoshoot.  His big brothers had to take turns holding him and he just slept!  We also got 'birthday shots' of the big boys, who did a great job...What a handsome guys...

Kate & Dustin

These two had such a beautiful day for a wedding...the rain held off and the wind blew lightly.  It was so much fun experiencing the day with these two.  Kate had such a beautiful dress, one like I've not seen before and the guys in the wedding party were a riot.  Here's a peek
