I am due September 10th

With that being said, here is an update on my schedule upcoming and into fall/holiday pictures.

September: I have no more availability before the baby is born.  I will be taking "Maternity Leave" September through October 17th.
*I will only be scheduling Wedding Consultations, Newborns and if needed Sweetness Collection members while on maternity leave*
(I will still be editing, designing and fulfilling orders as well as working on Holiday Cards so feel free to e-mail)

October: I will begin scheduling sessions again on October 18th with limited availability.  I will be shooting mostly evenings and weekends.  Weekends I will schedule no more than 4 shoots a day.

November: I will again be scheduling mostly evenings and weekends.  My last session for "Holiday Portraits" will be Sunday, November 21st.  Any sessions scheduled after November 21st will NOT be guaranteed for holiday delivery.
**I will be offering two Micro-Session Days on November 14th and 20th. If you are not looking for my regular session but instead are looking for just a quick holiday card photo shoot. This will be a short shoot, with limited times/location/groupings/photos to choose from and card options.  You will be able to order additional portraits.  Please e-mail me if you are interested in this shoot, space will be limited.**

All Holiday cards/portrait prints MUST BE ORDERED by November 28th to ensure holiday delivery.  Any order placed after that will require a 50% rush fee. No rushed orders will be accepted after December 5th.

I will have an online gallery for Holiday Cards up in the next couple of weeks so be sure to take a look at that.

December: Appointments will be taken on a limited basis and will not be ready to proof until January.

Plan on calling or e-mailing early to reserve your spots as space is limited.  Also, please note if you are a returning client, my session options have changed.  To view your options go to my website and look at "Portrait Clients" and investment.  Thank you for understanding my deadlines and limited availability this time of year!

{Oliver} 3 months

This is Mr Oliver and he is 3 months old.  He came into the studio earlier this week with his mama and he was a great little guy.  He was in such a good mood and he didn't mind using his strong little neck to lay on his tummy and hold his head up (which is a pretty big task for 3 month olds)  He was such a happy little guys except for clothing changes which we got through as fast as possible.  Here's a peek from our shoot:

{The McGills}

We met last weekend at their home and ventured over to their new land for some family and kiddo shots.  It was a pretty nice morning out and we were able to use the nice morning light!  I love the ones in the field!  Little Miss Elana didn't seem to warm up to me too quickly this time, but I loved that she gave me a big hug when I left!  Here's a few favorites!

The Duffey Family

We met in the Old Market last week for a fun family shoot!  This adorable family has their hands full with these three boys but I really enjoyed playing with them and documenting their family!  These three little guys are so silly!  Here are a few from our shoot.

The F family

I've felt blessed to have photographed this family since Maddie was just an infant and every time mom calls to schedule the shoot I am excited because the kids are great, they always are stylish and fun!  This time was no different!  Look at Maddie and Nicholas' outfits!  Aren't they adorable...like little models!  I loved it!  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to document your family each year!

{Cameron 6mos}

This adorable red-haired, blue-eyed cutie I shot the weekend before last(and apparently the time if flying by) and I wanted to share a few of my favorites from our shoot!  He is just at that 6 month stage and can sit by himself (with propping) for a few seconds at a time!

Tessa's One!

I can't believe I've known this beautiful mama since 7th grade, but I always enjoy getting together to capture their adorable family.  The special occasion this time was their little Tessa turning one!  We also got some of Mr Brody who turned 4 this summer.  It's crazy how fast a year can go by....

Welcome Raymond

This little bean, Raymond came into the studio this weekend with his mommy and daddy for his first photo shoot!  After his tummy was full, he did a spectacular job looking cute, sleeping and being squishy.  His parents were so excited to meet him, and overjoyed to hold him in their arms....

Moriah-six months

I was so excited I got to see miss Moriah last week for her six month shoot while her and mommy were in town from Chicago.  If you're a blog-follower, you may remember her sweet little newborn session I did while visiting a friend in Chicago.  Her beautiful blue eyes were captivating..just look at a few of my favorites:

Happy First Birthday McKenna

This little sweetheart just turned ONE and it seems like just the other day I was shooting her newborn photos.  We met at Zorinsky Lake last Friday night and though it was a bit warm, she flased those beautiful baby blues at me and decided she wanted to try and walk everywhere.  Don't you just LOVE her bright pink dress!?!?!

Happy Birthday Kate!

This sweet little brown-eyed girl celebrated her first birthday!  It's been so much fun to watch her grow from session to session and see how her personality changes.  She was full of expressions during her one-year shoot and despite the bit of heat we dealt with, the shoot went fabulous!

Big man Jack

I had to share, my big man, Jack learned to ride his bike without training wheels this past weekend and I'm so proud of him!  I loved the look on his face when I showed up to see what him and daddy had been working on that morning(they went to Millard North Parking Lot)  He was beaming, which probably distracted him a little, but it was worth it.  He was so proud of himself...and I am too!

"4 little men"

Look at these handsome little guys!  I met them downtown this weekend for an early morning shoot in the Old Market (forgetting about the farmers market going on!)  I loved their big blue eyes and fair skin!  I was lucky to have this family win my session at a silent auction at St. Wenceslaus.  I told them, I'll be the short dark haired lady, holding a camera with a big pregnant belly.  They had no trouble finding me among the crowd of marketers!  Here's a sneak peek from our shoot:

Beautiful Big Blue Eyes

Look at those peepers!  They are beautiful and blue and big and momma wanted them captured and documented before they change like hers did.  I think we accomplished our mission!   Other than that, miss Gwen was a happy, smiley girl who was easy to entertain!  Here's a peek!

The Demmans

Due to the heat, this adorable family decided to come to the air conditioned studio..and I couldn't have been happier!  They all did great!  I got to play around with some new backgrounds I recently purchased and everyone wasn't miserable with sweat and heat!  Little Miss Lola was due for pictures and she was so much fun.  Easy to smile and LOVED playing in the tub!

after this bathtub shoot, my studio was soaked!  But it was worth it!
