Happy Birthday Hailey

Hailey came to Omaha for her birthday shoot Friday too.  Her birthday is in a couple of weeks but she was napped and ready to go.  It turned out to be such a nice day and luckily not too hot.  Miss Hailey is also a Sweetness member so I get to make her First Year Book documenting her first shoot through her first year!

Happy Birthday Olivia

Last Friday was Miss Olivia's first birthday!  What a fun day for a photo shoot!  She is a sweetness member so that means that after this shoot we will be ready to make her First Year book!  She was a busy little one, running all over the place and definitely NOT wanting to be held!  I loved her bright outfits and her sweet blue eyes.  She even let me dress her up in my pettiskirt!

Belly Bump...

This adorable belly bump had about 7 weeks of "cooking" before he/she makes a debut.  For now, we wanted to capture the anticipation of their first child.  I LOVE maternity shoots and seeing the glow and excitement of the little person growing inside them.  Here's a few from our session with Bekah!

Sean-9 months

Sean and his mommy & daddy met me yesterday at Lake Zorinsky for some playful picture.  Sean has such great eyes...I love catching that sparkle!  It was great weather for us, and we were worried it was going to be too hot!  Here's a few favorites from our shoot...

Birthday Claire

This birthday girl is turning one and I can't believe how fast the year has gone!  She is a sweetness member (4 sessions in the first year and a First Year Book at the end) and I am so excited to start working on her book!  We met at Lanoha Arboretum and she did a fantastic job.  She is walking and playful, talking and silly which was perfect for yesterdays shoot.

Puppies for everone....

Saturday morning I headed out to this wonderful families home in Elkhorn.  Despite the threatening clouds, the rain held off and I got to play and photograph them and their puppies.  What a fun gift for parents to give each of their children...a puppy and this was their weekend to go home with their new parents.  Here's a few favorites from our morning...

Sweet Pea

This handsome little sweet pea, Charlie, came into the studio yesterday for his very first photo shoot.  He did a fantastic job, even though I think mom was tired of feeding him!  Dad was able to come by after work and livened up the party a bit!  We were able to get some sweet shots of them together.  Thanks for being so excited to do this and for letting me capture your new little one.  Here's a little peek from our shoot!

Alissa & Ben 06.12.10

Saturday morning I woke up to thunderstorms and began to think of all the ways I could turn this into a positive thing for Ben and Alissa who were to be married at 2 at St. Vincent de Paul in Omaha.  Fortunately, the weathermen were wrong, the sky cleared up and it did not rain a single drop on us the entire day.  Alissa was a gorgeous bride and so easy-going!  Ben was adorable and so in love with his bride!  What a fun and fantastic day for them.  Everything was perfect...here's a few of my favorites from the day...

Family time...

Lanoha was also the setting for this family group.  It was a beautiful afternoon and we luckily dodged the rain.  Lanoha has a beautiful backdrop for pictures with it's greenery and flowers as well as the other design elements in the arboretum.  I enjoy documenting families like this and capturing memories for them that will be priceless.  I absolutely love capturing grandparents, they are such important role-models in our families and it's a honor to be able to photograph them.
