Harrison James....welcome to the world

Little Harrison did a wonderful job during his newborn photoshoot today in his home.  I'm sure I've mentioned this, but newborns are really one of my favorite type of subjects to photograph!  Especially for first time parents!!  Once we got this little guy to sleep...which took some coaxing, he let me do my thing!  Once we had gotten a bunch in his little blue sleeper, we were able to sneek a few diaper shots in before dinnertime!  This first shot was actually MY first shot of the day, how could it get any sweeter than this....

Happy Birthday Amarie!

This was such a fun shoot because little miss Amarie's mommy and I have been friends since 3rd grade and she just moved back into town!  What a fun way to reconnect!  This little sweetie had big beautiful eyes and a big day of pictures planned with one of the cutest cake endings I've shot!  Here's a few of my favorites!

Zoey & Ava

These little cuties came into the studio and it didn't take them long to become silly little girls!  They had fun springtime dresses which is so fun to see after such a long winter!  They even brought in some colorful flowers.  Here's a peek from our shoot!

9 months!

Miss Kerrington is a regular it seems, and I can't believe she's already 9 months old!  This first year of hers is flying by...  She came into the studio yesterday morning and though she wasn't her quite ususually 'happy little self' we managed to sneak some adorable photos out of it....

Baby Gavin

This little sweetie came into the studio Monday for his newborn shoot and he was a rockstar!  He slept most of the time and has the sweetest little face.  His daddy is out of town so he doesn't get to see him everyday so I wanted to share a few sweet ones!

Yesterday I got to spend the evening with old friends.  Meagan and I went to high school together and she asked me to document her and her new husband, Jeter, during their Omaha reception.  They were married last month in Denver, Co.  Their wedding party took Ollie the Trolley for a quick stop at Regency Lake, then off to their reception at the Omaha Country Club.  It was a fun and intimate affair I was honored to be a part of.  Best wishes on a beautiful life together Meagan and Jeter!!!

Happy Birthday Kinsley

Miss Kinsley is another one of my first year "Sweetness" members and she came in this morning for her one year shoot.  She got to do this shoot all by herself and we had fun playing!  Her mama brought fun bright spring outfits and I had a few tricks up my sleeves as well.  I am loving seeing all these little ones grow up over the course of a year...I'll have to post a few pages from their books soon!

Big Smiles...

This morning was Bronx's 4 month shoot and he gave me big huge smiles...till he got hungry and tired and let me know the shoot was over.  Four month shoots are fun because they are more able to hold those little heads up and you can sometimes get smiles out of them by just talking to them!  Though he didn't necessarily want to, we even got a few shots in his Yankees sweatshirt for dad!

Three little peanuts

Yesterday I got to shoot my first newborn TRIPLET shoot.  I was so excited when they arrived, mom and dad probably thought I was nuts!  Two girls and one boy and I can't believe we got them all to sleep (with some hard work) at the same time .  They were so teeny tiny and adorable!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Luke turns one today and he came in yesterday for his big one-year-old photo shoot!  He was such a little cutie!  All mom had to do was tickly him and it sent him into a giggling episode, so cute!  At the end of the shoot we gave him a birthday cake and it was one of the funniest I've done.  He didn't hesitate for a second, he dove in and shoved handfuls into his mouth.  Needless to say, he needed a bath when he was done!

Miss Dimples...

I absolutely adore McKenna's dimples and sweet blue eyes.  This little peanut came into the studio for her newborn shoot about 6 months ago and it's so fun to see how much they change. 

Little miss spring!

Sloan came into the studio yesterday in her pretty Easter dress and she was all smiles (well until I pulled out that big ole camera and started acting crazy!).  She is a petite little thing with beautiful blue eyes and a sweet smile.  She is one of my 'Sweetness Members' but I haven't seen her since her newborn shoot, so it was fun to see how much she's grown and changed!

Meet Mr. B

This is Bronson and he came into the studio this weekend for his 4 month shoot.  He was a happy guy and one of my favorite parts of the session when I got those deep belly laughs out of him!  So cute!!!  His mommy and daddy were so nice to work with, it was fun to meet them.  Here's a few from our session:
