I'm Seeing Double!

I had two shoots last week on the same day and for some reason I didn't realize that both shoots were sets of twin boys so I had to blog them together.  I LOVE TWINS!  How much fun are they!

Brayton & Hunter are 4 months old and their photo shoot was quite interesting...when one would cry, the other was happy and then they switched roles.  I secretly wonder if they planned this out before the shoot to stress us all out!  Regardless, we worked hard to get them happy, together and lookin cute for their shoot.  Here's a few favorites:

That same evening 6 week old Landon and Levi came to the studio for their first photo shoot.  Their mommy and daddy were a couple whom I photographed their wedding and now their mommy does my hair.  It was a long and fun evening.  They were so tiny and I got to play around with some of my new hats!  It was so cute how they would snuggle up and wrap themselves around each other.

OMG, the second to last one makes my heart melt!

The Dale Family

What a sweet family...  We headed down to the trail since the weather was cooperating for us and we were able to get those "fall" outdoor pictures.  Once we got enough of the outdoors, we headed inside and dressed little missy up!  What a good time I had with her, she was a doll!

6 Adults, 2 Dogs, a Cat and a DUCK!

So a few weeks ago now, I did a fun photoshoot with a family whose daughters wedding I photographed a few years ago.  I was asked how I felt about photographing animals.  I said it was not problem...then she told me who was coming....I think the photographs explain it all!  It was such a fun shoot...I can honestly say that was the first time I've ever had a duck visit my studio for pictures.  My boys thought it was great!

The Daytons

I met the Daytons at their home and just behind them is the Papio Trail.  It was a great evening for pictures.  We even tried to pull the dogs in for a few, which I know was a struggle, but we got a few!  Carrie is such a sweet person and a great Wedding Coordinator if you're in need of one!

The Douglas Family

We met in downtown Elkhorn for a late afternoon shoot.  The girls had on their matching adorable outfits and warmed up to me quickly!  I love the textures and depth to their shoot.  They were headed off to a birthday party after the shoot so I had to get movin!  Here's a few of my favorites from our shoot...

The Carey Family

These four met me at the Papio Trail for some family photos.  Little Sutton had his newborn shoot just two months ago but we wanted to get some outdoor fall colors.  It was a little chilly that day, and miss Antonia had her own mind that evening, but look at them!  They are beautiful!!!

The Fredericks

This was such a fun shoot!  We met at their home and headed outback to capture their landscaping and the lake out back.  The kiddos did great and I was so happy we ended up with enough lighting so  late in the day.  I am so happy with what we got!  Here's a few from the shoot:

The Segers

We lucked out with the weather and decided to shoot at Lanoha.  Little Mr. Jackson was super happy and fun during his shoot.  It was a busy place so we had to dodge other shoots, but I LOVED the fall look and their outfits were perfect!

Kavan Family

I met the Kavans at Lanoha last Sunday and it must have been a popular shoot location that day because the parking lot was full.  I'm going to say it again...it was a perfect day to shoot outdoor family shots.  These little guys were cracking me up...too funny, especially at the end of the shoot.  Here's a peek:

Vacek Family

This shoot was another fun one for me because I photographed this couples wedding almost 3 years ago and now they have a sweet little girl, Trisha.  We met at Elmwood park and they brought along their dog Henry who made it in a few shots.  Miss Trisha was so sweet and her big blue eyes were adorable.  I love catching up with past clients again!  Thanks for coming up for me to photograph your beautiful family.
