What a wonderful surprise for a 70 year old....a family portrait including her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. We met at the Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln earlier this week for a photoshoot. Unfortunatley the weather kept us inside...but everyone was a great sport and even a little silly!

Good Bye Nebraska...

This adorable family is heading out to the west coast, a job moves them out of the midwest, and I was so thankful to have the opportunity to photograph them before they left.  It was a perfect night, light and temperature-wise (let's not talk about the fact that my purse was stolen in the parking lot)  I am in love with these images and am thinking of creating a canvas cluster for my studio....

Harrison {18 mos}

We met this weekend at Elmwood Park for an early morning shoot and this little guy was a ball of energy (which most 18 month olds are!)  He ran and ran so I'm sure he took a good nap for mommy and daddy that day.

Ely & Maya

Last night I met this adorable family at Levi Carter Park and the lighting was just beautiful.  It's been a few years since I've photographed them and we recalled how Ely just melted during his last photo shoot...well that was not the case this time!  Both kids just played with me and were silly and did so well..enjoy the peek:

Happy Birthday Charlotte

Miss Charlotte recently celebrated her first birthday and to commemorate, we did our final shoot for her first year book.  We met out at Wherspan Lake on Sunday afternoon, included her adorable siblings and mommy and daddy in a few.  It's crazy how fast a year goes...it seems like just a few weeks ago I was blogging about her newborn shoot!  Here's a  little teaser...

So happy to have these images!  Hollie and I have been working on scheduling these family pictures forever it seems...it's always tricky with extended family.  Then Sunday comes and it looks like it's going to rain in the morning and luckily...the weather passed, we got a beautiful day!  We met at Wherspan Lake and found a nice little spot with some wildflowers, wind block and parking.  Here's a few...

Levi & Landon {One Year}

I'm officially done with "Maternity Leave" and am going right into Fall/Holiday shoots!  My first shoot of the season was last night with little sweetie pies...Levi and Landon who you may remember from their first photo shoot.  I can't believe it's already been a year!  We met down in Elkhorn last night...the weather and lighting were BEAUTIFUL!  It may not have been the best time for them...we had a few melt-downs as most one-year-olds do...but I loved it!  They were dressed like little men and so adorable!  Here's a peek
