Jared and John

These are my cousins boys and the reason I took a trip to Spalding, Ne to visit!  These two are going to be seniors this coming school year and I was honored to photograph them.  I really enjoyed scoping out the town and finding places to shoot...here's a peek:

Sara {Class of 2011}

Last night I was able to shoot Sara's senior photos.  She has adorable dimples, is so sweet and luckily the wind died down for us for our outside shoot!  I had so much fun with her, she gave me sassy and was open to a little wardrobe switch-aroo!  Loved the cowboy boots!

Nick

Nick is a senior and my first for the class of 2011.  Nick was such an easy going guy, had ideas of his own and rolled with the flow. His mom jumped in for a few family shots too as she said she couldn't remember the last time they had done them.  We started in the studio and then headed to downtown Elkhorn to use some of the more 'urban' looking backgrounds.  Here's a little peek for you:

Congrats!

I was asked to take pictures for Amy for her upcoming graduation.  She came into the studio yesterday due to the unfavorable weather out.  I had so much fun chatting with her and hearing about her family (I photographed her son about 5 years ago)  Here's a few from our shoot!  Isn't she beautiful?

Bridget

Bridget came in for her senior session last week and she was nervous about the shoot.  She is a cousin of my husbands so she knew me, but she didn't know how she was going to fake smile for hours. I assured her it was going to be fun, easy and we wouldn't take hours and she melted right into the session.  She had great outfits with her!  She let me try out some different posing ideas, some worked, some didn't but overall I think she had a great time.

Seph - class '10

Seph came in Monday night for his Senior session and he was adorable.  I know that he probably, like most guys, just wanted to get them over with, but I really enjoyed photographing him.  We did some in the studio and then headed down to the trail for some 'end of the day' lighting which I had fun playing around with!  Enjoy your senior year Seph, it's going to fly by!

Erin- inside the studio

Erin came back in Tuesday to get some indoor shots. We did her outdoor session a few weeks ago in her hometown. I had a few more in her sports uniforms I wanted to get as well as play around with some backgrounds.

Yesterday I headed to Bancroft, NE to shoot a fantastic senior session. I was so excited to go to a new location and thanks to Mom and the girls, they scoped out some great spots for me to shoot, with her new pony, on this old bridge out of town, by this old rusty truck,etc. The lighting was very nice, minus the rain we had to dodge and the downright DOWNPOUR that ended our outside pictures. I wanted to share a few of my favorites...Erin looks beautiful doesn't she?

Josh
