Little Luke

Today I got to spend time with this little guy and his mommy and daddy. Luke did a great job smiling and talking to me....which of course made pictures easy to shoot. He was such a trooper and had so many faces! Eventually he conked out on us! Thanks for a fun morning!

The Eikmeiers

On Friday afternoon, despite the wind, I ventured out with a friend and her family to get some "family" photographs. I decided I wanted to head to downtown Elkhorn and use some of the older buildings as 'wind blocks' and as the perfect backdrop to the "urban-looking" photographs. We also headed out to a nice green field, but the wind got the best of us! Here's a peek and Happy Mothers Day to my beautiful friend and her family!

I got to meet up with an old friend of mine and her little girl on Friday and I had so much fun. Little Miss Celie got to play dress up and play with me. I thought her momma was beautiful so I thought I'd share a few of my favorites:

Jaxson & big brother Braylon

This was a fun shoot for me because it makes me think about how far I've come. Angie is a cousin of my husbands and I did her senior pictures back when I had just begun doing this photography thing for a living. She was a wonderful senior to work with, then a few years later, I photographed her wedding and now I'm photographing her second child! Here's a few from our day!

And we made sure to get a few for dad since he couldn't make it to the shoot!

Jen + Matt

I had the honor of photographing a family wedding in West Point and it was a beautiful day. I had so much fun with Matt and Jen and their 20+ member wedding party. I wanted to show a sneak peak from their day. I hope to link their slideshow to this post soon!

Kinsley

I got to photograph little Kinsley and she was such a good baby. Her big brother was such a big boy as well and did great with his little sister. Here's a few from our session!

Colorado + Friends

So I took a trip to Colorado last weekend to visit a dear, sweet friend and her little girl. We stayed at her parents house and it was such a wonderfully relaxing visit, I hated to leave. While I was there I had the opportunity to take some shots of her little one again now that she's 7 months old. I hadn't seen her since she was about 3 weeks old and she has changed so so much! Here's a few from our weekend visit...

Of course, since I had my own two boys AND my camera....I decided to take them outside for some pictures and here's one of my favorites!

New Look to Colleen Dustin Photography!

I am excited to announce that I have launched my new website! It is still at www.dustinphoto.com, but it's had a face-lift. I am sad to see my old site go because I know how much work it was for those who built it, but I am thrilled with how my new one is looking and how much more control I have over it. I plan on changing the featured weddings every once in a while as well as the images in the galleries. I'd love to hear your thoughts so please check it out if you have a moment!

A Husker lovin' family

Yesterday morning I met this fun family at Elmwood Park to get some new family photos done. I getting to photograph families whose weddings I've done in the past. Brian and Kim were married in 2007 and now they have a new little guy, Christian, who is just 2 months old and quite a trooper. It wasn't the warmest yesterday but we had fun! I wanted to post my last wedding for you to see, and my fun couple of course to see. I really enjoyed hanging out with this couple and their friends and family. You could feel the love between them and my goal was to capture it! They had a little rain(hail, wind, etc) but it didn't stop them from enjoying their day. Here's a few of my favorites!

Happy Easter

I had to post a few pics from this weekend. We had a great weekend though it was egg hunt-filled.....I think we did 4 in all, so lots of candy here! We even dyed eggs this year, they turned out pretty cute!
