New Years Eve baby!

Little Elana Marie is the newest addition to one of my favorite families that I've been photographing since their wedding. Jodie and Tim gave birth to little Elana at about 10 in the morning on December 31st, what a fun birthday! I having them come in to the studio and taking her little pictures at only 8 days old! You would think newborns are super easy to photograph cause all they do is sleep, but this little gal wanted to eat for over 2 hours! Luckily we were able to snap shots in between "feedings" and her big brother Collin did awesome waiting around for his little sister to preform. What a fun morning. Thanks for letting me capture yet another milestone in your lives and congratulations on your new little blessing!

December!

As I am still trying to get my blog caught up, here are some pictures from December. As most of my family/holiday card shoots were done and deadlines had passed, most of what I was doing in December besides editing weddings, designing albums, creating each family with unique custom holiday card to send out to their family and friends; I shot my boys and my family as a gift for my mother. I also got to do one maternity session and I'll have newborn pictures to post shortly!!!

Katie & Selom

What a fun couple! With Selom being from South Africa and Katie growing up here in Omaha their guests witnessed such a wonderfully unique day. Unfortunately most of Seloms family was unable to come to Nebraska for the wedding but the couple was able to celebrate, and enjoy themselves. With a ceremony at St. Roberts and reception at Regency Lodge that was all decked out for Christmas you couldn't help but smile. I wish them a long and happy marriage!

What I was up to in November...

so as you may have noticed I had no time to blog in November and December. Here's a few of the reasons why:

Mindy + Justin

It was a beautiful fall day when we were finally able to meet up. We walked all over downtown to get Mindy & Justin's engagement shots. I had a ton of fun getting to know them better and hearing more about their wedding plans. Sorry it took so long for this sneak peek, but here's a few shots from our day out!

Tara & Brooks

My, have I got a LOT to post so I'd better get started. I had so much fun with these two yesterday even though the wind was incredibly strong and it was a bit cold out. I love the one where Tara's hair is blowing! We also got out on the UNO field for a few shots, thanks to the security guard working at the midget football game Sunday. I love when my couples where their team sweatshirts, but these two decided on two different sets of teams. Thanks for letting me have fun with you despite the weather! Your hair looks great!

Little Sam!

Little Sam made me work for it but I had fun Sunday morning playing trains, firetrucks and running around the backyard. He even shot me with his "web shooter". This is the third year I've gotten to take his pictures, it's so fun to see how big he's gotten.

Johnson Family

I got the pleasure of meeting a new family last Friday and they were so much fun. Jack and Lilly were so adorable...Lilly even held my hand as we walked from place to place which I thought was so cute! They were so nice and I can't wait to show them all their family pictures.

A beautiful little family!

I have the most fun job!! Look at this adorable family. You may have seen little Antonia and her mommy before as I got a great shot of them showing off their awesome blue eyes for a fathers day gift. Here is their most recent shoot. We wanted outside, fall and just some fun family shots. I am so excited for them to see all the great stuff we got, but here's a little peek...

Tayler + Russ

Meet Tayler and Russ- they are planning a fall 2009 wedding and we were able to capture some beautiful fall colors for them. Besides it being a little early in the morning and a little cold, it was a great shoot and I had a lot of fun getting to know them and can't wait for their wedding! Here's a little peek at our shoot.

They have a new little girl!

So last month I took some family and belly pictures for Becca & Tyler while they were expecting their second child. Well, she came and I got to photograph her at 12 days and she was the perfect little subject. Her big sister Naveah was busy as can be and little Adara just looked around and slept a little. Thanks for coming in so we could get these great family shots! Check out the one where mom is kissing her(she's smiling) and I LOVE my new tutu and couldn't wait to get it on her!

Sweet Baby Chloe...

Well, I have done yet another newborn and she was so sweet. This little one is the daughter of another wedding couple of mine and I'm so happy for them and their new little family. As I'm posting these I'm wondering what's going on, there's been such a baby boom lately (for me at least!) Here's a peek at my session from this morning. I absolutely love the ones with her mommy and the one of her daddy kissing her. So sweet!

Busy busy...

I've been busy busy, busy with wedding, babies and families getting their holiday shoots done. I have to say THANK YOU to Chad and Mindy who drove up from Lincoln with their 3 boys tonight to get their family pictures taken. I love your boys and they did such a great job! Here's a peek at our session.

Fulcher Family

Holiday sessions are definitely in full swing and going fantastically. This is yet another example of an awesome family that I've had the pleasure of photographing...again. I met them last winter when little Emily was born and now she and her big sister Ellie were FULL of smiles. They did a wonderful job and I wanted to give you a treat...
